Blue Marlin - Close to Beach, Firepit, Rec Area

Cute house, super uiet deapite being in front of fire house. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, washer and dryer in grt condition and convt. Downsides: House is a bit tired and in need of some tlc. We experienced some cleaning/maintenance issues that have been shared with mgt company to address going forward. It is basic, well located to beach, and in need of some maintenance, repairs, and updates.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It's a fairly nice place, though much of the outdoor furniture is very rusty and overly abundant really. It's as if they just don't want to both hauling away the old stuff. Unlike other places we've stayed, the checkin info email came from an individual person and didn't show up under a VRBO search. We had no reason to look for something like this since they had been sending us tons of other messages through the app and some emails through VRBO as well. So we were locked out for 30 minutes with two littles before we got a hold of the manager finally. She was not apologetic or even sympathetic. More snarky really, despite me doing my best to be respectful. I never even found the email she sent until days later. The house is on a busier street than I had expected, across the street from a fire station. My boys liked this but it might not be a plus for others. We were able to walk to the beach with the littles in the wagon but there are no sidewalks and a good bit of traffic for some stretches so it wasn't ideal. The beach was lovely and fairly quiet. The house was well stocked but I wish the outdoor eating had been on the covered porch next to the dining room. Also, the en-suite bathroom was off the smaller queen bedroom, which was weird and meant we didn't use it much.

This beach house worked well for our family. The location made everything easy. We had friends staying close by, which made visits simple. The beach was a short walk, and being off the main road gave us a quieter space. The marsh was also within walking distance, which made the stay even more convenient.
