Pier Walk 15- Ocean View/Elevator/Sleeps 8

Not sure Tybee is for us Positive: Spacious. Nice garage parking. Cute balcony. Needs nicer than some places we've stayed. Negative: Everything was covered in what appeared to be course white dog hair and black short curly hairs. The couch was covered, the master bathroom and bathtub, the dryer lint trap was absolutely filled with curly black hairs. Soaps and shampoo in master were almost empty. The kitchen counters and table were dirty upon arrival. Host mostly attentive. There was a huge miscommunication about bicycles. On their app it says adult bikes available at the unit. They brought a kids bike, we couldn't find adult bikes so I asked and was told "I didn't know you requested them" I apologized and they offered to bring two out. I told them, not a problem. No rush." But they never showed back up, which definitely did not improve our stay as we kept having to pay to park around town as we are traveling with our autistic 6 year old and he was not having the walking back and forth. Additionally, shortly after booking i messaged the property about box fans. They told me to remind them closer to booking and they would bring 2 out. We use them as background noise, we're all very light sleepers. I messaged before we left home about the fans, to which they responded that "the air in the unit works well" i told tree host we use them for sleep, not to cool. She said there's maybe a fan in the master closet.... and there was not, so I should have packed my own, because this was the hardest place I've ever had to try sleep. The elevator beeps all night long, and the air is so loud it would wake you up.

Our family enjoyed being close to beach. Being able to be together as a family was great! Positive: Close to home made it a nice getaway Negative: The pictures from Booking were kind of confusing. I really didn’t need to know the decor - the pictures from apartment.

Positive: Beautiful place. Excellent location. Negative: The elevator is supposed to be the permanent entrance thru the front door. Glad they let us use our key
